VRROOM Alpha Party

About the Project

VRROOM Alpha Party was a hybrid music event presented both live in Paris and in virtual reality, marking the alpha launch of the VRROOM immersive platform. The concert featured performances by Maxence, Le Juiice, and Web7, captured in real time using motion capture and staged in fully customized 3D environments that reflected the identity and sound of each artist.

Using markerless motion capture technology developed by SoWhen?, each performance was synchronized live with the VRROOM platform and made accessible via VR headsets, desktop, and mobile. The 35-minute concert demonstrated how live music could be reimagined as an interactive and immersive experience.

To mark the occasion, an in-person launch event was held at Le Carmen in Paris on January 10, 2023 with guests discovering the virtual show through headsets, while the artists were physically present at the venue.
